BSC Inc. (“BSC Inc.”, “we”, “us”) is proudly Canadian owned and provides software and related services, including Alliance Information Management System (AIMS), Total Individualized Money Management Solutions (TIMMS), and Job Tracker (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a demo, or use our Services.

Demo requests, support requests, and onboarding activities
Use of our software platforms and related services
If you are using AIMS, TIMMS, or Job Tracker through an organization (an “Agency”), that Agency may have its own privacy practices that also apply.
2) What personal information we collect
We collect only the information we need for identified purposes. Depending on your interactions with us, we may collect:
A. Website and inquiries
Name, organization, email address, phone number
Message content and demo/support request details
Basic technical data (IP address, device/browser type, approximate location, site interactions)
B. Client/Agency administrative and support
Administrator / Support Staff contact details
Account, authentication, access logs, support tickets
Configuration details and usage data needed to operate, secure, and support the Services
C. Service data (Agency-controlled) AIMS/TIMMS/Job Tracker may process personal information entered by an Agency (e.g., individuals supported, staff notes, documents, funding or employment support records). In most cases, the Agency controls the content and BSC Inc. processes it to provide the Services.
3) How we collect personal information
We collect personal information:
Directly from you (forms, email, phone, demo requests)
Automatically (cookies and similar technologies)
From our clients (Agencies) to set up accounts, provide support, and deliver contracted services
4) Why we collect and use personal information (purposes)
We use personal information to:
Provide, maintain, and support the Services
Respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and provide customer service
Set up accounts, authenticate users, and manage access
Improve reliability, security, and performance
Meet legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., security, recordkeeping)
We do not sell personal information.
5) Consent
We obtain consent as appropriate for the sensitivity and context, including:
Implied consent when you contact us for information or services
Express consent where required (e.g., optional marketing communications)
You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe option or contacting us.
6) When we share personal information

With an Agency if you are an authorized user of that Agency’s environment

Depending on the service provider used, personal information may be processed or stored outside your province or outside Canada. In those cases, it may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards remain in place.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, least-privilege permissions, monitoring, and secure hosting practices. Under PIPEDA, organizations are expected to protect personal information with appropriate safeguards.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; however, we work to maintain strong controls proportional to risk.
9) Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes identified, contractual requirements, and legal obligations. We dispose of or de-identify information when it is no longer required.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. PIPEDA includes an individual access principle .
If you are an end user in an Agency environment, requests about Service Data may need to be directed to your Agency (as the data controller for that environment).

Quebec note: Quebec organizations have transparency obligations when collecting personal information using technological means, and the CAI has emphasized the requirement to publish a privacy policy in this context .
12) Breach response and incident notification
If we detect a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate, mitigate risk, and follow applicable legal obligations. Under PIPEDA, organizations must report certain breaches to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify affected individuals when there is a “real risk of significant harm,” and keep breach records .
13) Children’s privacy
Our website and Services are intended for organizations and authorized users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our marketing website.
14) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and post the revised version on our website.
